Martin Genodepa was grantee of the Vermont Freeman Studio Center
Artist in Residence Program in 1999
and sat in the Visual Arts Committee of the National Commission for Culture & theArts(NCCA-CVA),'98-'01'
while Alan Cabalfin, the studio potter
of the group, has participated in
pottery workshops in Japan. Benji
Belgica, who concentrates on terra-
cotta as medium for his art, has exhi-
bited his terracotta sculptures in
Canada and the United States. Dado
Tan, aside from engaging in the visual arts, is also a recording artist
of Hiligaynon popular songs, while
Ed Defensor, their founder and leader, had represented the country
in several international art festivals
and conferences, and had authored
books and articles on Philippine
art history. He also served a term as Board Member of the NCCA-CVA.
