tions, and other artistic activi-
ties, in the process establishing
themselves as some of the leading light and important per-
sonalities in the visual art scene of the Visayas.

In all their activities the group had demonstrated a penchant for using diverse media for artmaking, as well as for experimentation and daring imagination. Three of the group--Joe Amora, Fred Orig, and
Ed Defensor--were chosen participants in a National Touring Exhibition sponsored by the Cultural Center of the Philippines showcasing the use of indigenous art materials in 1992.

Amora, Orig and Zoluaga have been constant winners of art competitions.
Most notable in this regard is PG Zoluaga who won the P. Morris Philippine
Art Awards in 1998, and consequently represented the country in the ASEAN Art Awards held in Vietnam.
